Guess what?

Are you guessing yet? No, we aren't moving back to the states anytime soon. No, we didn't get a dog.

Hmm, what could it be?

OK, I will give you a hint. I have been feeling like crap for a few weeks and I am really tired.

You need another hint? The birthstone for May is Emerald.

You give up?

We are finally pregnant after 9 months of hard "work." I am 9 weeks today. I am due on May 22 but will most likely have a c-section before that. Sami is very excited to be a sister. She is adamant that she wants a sister though and says she doesn't want a brother because she doesn't like boys. Sami is also expecting. She told me tonight that she has a kitty growing in her belly.

My first appointment was good and I saw the heart beating. They bumped me up to high risk though since I will be 35 when the baby is born. I will be getting extra ultrasounds and tests.

Samantha has also decided at this most opportune time to give up napping. (Thanks!) Sean has been extra nice and lets me sleep in and nap when he can.

CONGRATS!!! I'm sorry you are feelig crappy...but honestly, that is a good thing...hormones are surging. I'll miss seeing you grow. How can I do the pencil test from across the ocean????

I'm so happy. Tell Sami she'll be an awesome big sister...and mother to that baby kitty. :)

You're going to be a grandma. When is your grandkitty due?

Congrats again Aimee!
Natalie also says she has a "pretend" baby in her tummy alot, but she is sure to qualify the pretend part.

Coincidentally, our Nat has started to give up her nap too, but needs it most days right now.

I hope you feel better soon and take care of yourself!
Sarah

Congratulations Aimee and Sean! Are you going to find out what sex the baby is before it is born?
