E.A.S.Y. Baby schedules

I know Jillian is only 2 months old but now it the time to start thinking about some kind of schedule. The Baby Whisperer was recommended to me twice. She suggests an EASY schedule. Eat, activity, sleep, your time. Well that doesn't seem to be working for us at the moment. Jillian eats, sleeps, plays, eats, etc. I remember looking at the Baby Whisperer when Sami was a baby and all it did was stress me out. I feel like schedules usually just kind of emerge on their own but then again we screwed Sami up so maybe I am wrong. So any suggestions or opinions on baby schedules is welcome.

What about the recommendation in "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child"? His strategies worked great for my girls.

I've also heard of someone called the Sleep Lady. She had a website years ago when I was looking. Not sure what her strategies are, but you could always google her, as well.

Good luck!

I think that babies put themselves on a schedule of their own and we just have to learn to follow it. I have never tried to put the kids on a schedule but I did end up on one. I just watched their cues. All the kids go to bed by 7 PM and believe it or not, they ask to go to bed at that time. They are just tired by then. I don't know how it happens but it happened with all four of them.

Aimee,

Garrett, too has made his own schedule.. We usually wake up play a bit , then eat, then sleep for about 3 hours during which time I get to have a bit of peace except the other two LOL... He then wakes up and we do it all over again... That works well for us...

Miss you
