Typhoon Man-Yi

We are bracing ourselves for quite a strong typhoon. It is a category 4/5 and should hit sometime early Friday morning and last all day Friday. Everything that could be brought inside is in and everything else has been tied down. We went into lock down at 5PM. It is kind of crazy. If we were still in Beaufort, we would have had to evacuate. When you are stuck on a tiny little island there isn't anywhere to evacuate to. Fortunately the buildings are built to be typhoon proof and most have already successfully weathered several typhoons. We have lots of candles and all our portable electronics have been charged. We have our video camera charged too. When it is all over, I will add some pictures. Wish us luck!
